What is strength training?
Strength training is not just lifting weights. You can take a Pilates class that strengthens you with your own body weight or a body works class that uses weights and body fitness movements. You can also use the weights you can find in any gym and that I have on my website at www.customgymsonline.com to get you in top shape to add some extra weight to your exercise routine. Your body burns fat by building muscle. Or muscle burns fat, whichever way you say it. You still need to lift some weights to keep your body's metabolism in check and to keep that extra bit of body fat off. You must be careful how you lift weights. You should not swing weights, and if you are then the weight is too heavy for you. Keep in mind your own ability and strength train properly and you will get the max results.
